The G Pen is manufactured by Grenco Science, who was the first company to market a tank system specifically designed for essential oils and personal aromatherapy regimens. Grenco Science pride themselves on engineering advanced, user-friendly portable vaporizers. They have patented several features of their vape pens, including the unique threading system, and are noted for their collaborations with artists like Snoop Dogg, The Game and JAG (Just Another Glassblower).
The G Pen was designed for use with oils ranging from thin to thick viscosity i.e. oils and waxes. It is solidly made and extremely reliable. Its design is quite discreet and it comes well packaged in a nice solid case that can be used to store the pen when not in use.
The G Pen heats up quickly and releases large clouds of vapor. It will automatically shut off and the light will flash five times if the button is held down for over 10 seconds. This safety measure ensures that the tank does not overheat and burn out quickly.
The light on the G Pen battery provides a flashing signal to notify the user when it is time to recharge. Eight flashes of the light mean that the battery is completely dead, and the light will glow red when connected to the charger. The light turns green when the battery is charged and ready for use.
A fully charged G Pen battery will provide roughly 300 to 400 puffs, which is enough to vaporize nearly two grams of oil concentrate. The wide selection of G Pen tanks available are interchangeable, so a dry herb attachment can be purchased separately.

The G Pen is solidly built, reliable and affordable, and is ideal for producing large hits of vapour at a reasonable price. We did wish Grenco Science would have included the dry herb attachment in the kit. The attachment is not cheap and can amount to almost half the price of a full pen.
